Chad ran a large ecommerce brand, a retail aggregator, and handled fulfillment in house. One of the most popular brands on the roster kept hearing from customers about how well their orders showed up. So they asked him to take over all of their fulfillment.
Doing your own fulfillment is one thing. Doing it for somebody else is another. He had a hundred questions and no good place to put them.
A few people in the industry were kind enough to entertain every one of those questions. That is the part worth sitting with. They had no reason to help and they helped anyway.
Those conversations turned into a group. Notes got traded, hard lessons got shared, wins got celebrated, and operators who wanted the same thing kept getting added.
Five years on, that group is more than 200 operators who answer each other honestly because somebody did it for them first. It ran as a free community that whole time, funded out of pocket, because the point was never to make money off it.
It has outgrown that. Keeping the room this good takes real work now, so membership is paid, and the money goes back into resources, events, and keeping the wrong people out.
